[TRANSITION] Flower Power
« on: March 16, 2008 »
Here is one effect for this compo, I have one more idea  ;)

http://www.rbraz.com/files/Flower_Power.zip

This one is based on alpha blending to switch images, done in software, could be done extremely fast and high resolution using PS and then I'll pass all month fixing/testing :)

The flower fade thing is done procedurally and a bunch of other effects could be used here.

The colours sorta look like hubble space snapshots given the demo treatment. Really nice

Thanks!

I just can't resist doing this in shader  :P
It might not work everywhere...

works just as expected here very good job with reimplementing this in pixel shaders btw what version of ps are you using? My gfx card is suppose to support 3.0 but I always get terrible slow down this demo doesnt slow down at all.

It's just ps 1.1, I believe, the code for this is minuscule, much simpler to do using pixel shader :)

very cool rbraz i really like it.

im guessing its not shader model 1.1 as i have an old ti 4600 in my rig and it doesnt run.

but the software one works fine.

This is really cool! I think the song "Love You To" by the Beatles would fit perfectly.
