That was one damn difficult piece (for me anyway), but it didn't look that hard when I chose it.
I thought,
"lots of transparency, could be fun"
"Proportional scroller, yeah, I can do that"
"Some spinning objects, doesn't look too hard"
If only I knew...
I figured I'd start with the background objects and I finally worked out how to do it last night (well, I had a theory last night) but couldn't test the theory until this afternoon. It wasn't how I initially thought it was going to work (at least my solution isn't).
I'm learning why people love the Amiga and why the Blitter is soooo talked about.
The proportional scrollers proved interesting but not *that* annoying, but when I hit the full page scrollers I realised that as well as being proportional, they were centred as well.
Ah well, it was ... interesting and I've learned lots
