CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE
« on: December 18, 2006 »
Well, hot on the heels of the last competition here is another challenge.

The task this time is to make something festive! Something with a Christmas theme, it could be a demo, an intro, an effect, anything goes. You can use non original music / gfx as long as you have permission if possible from the author and / or credit the original artist.

Code must be your own :)
Use any language you like, Please post your entry with the prefix;

XMASCOMP

Please post all entries in new topics, one topic per entry!
Prizes will be simpler this time and consist of;[

(Voted By Forum members):
1st Place : 15 Karma 1500 Posts. Custom 1st place Gfx Banner.
2nd Place : 10 Karma 1000 Posts. Custom 2nd place Gfx Banner.
3rd Place : 5 Karma 500 Posts. Custom 3rd place Gfx Banner.

(Voted on only by the forum administrators):

Judges Choice : 5 Karma 500 Posts. Custom Judges Choice Banner.

All entries will get +2 Karma +100 Posts. You can enter as many times as you like :)

To explain the judges choice, it will be awarded to an entry outside the top three which we feel deserves some recognition, for example if the prod is a first intro and represents a big step for the person who made it.

The competition closes at midnight on Christmas eve! Good luck :)

First and foremost, a huge, huge thank you to everyone who took part, voted and enjoyed the Christmas challenge!!  ;D ;D

At a time of year when everyone is busy doing other things, like Christmas shopping and wrapping presents you managed to squeeze in time for the competition.. And what a fine bunch of entries they were!!  :o

All who entered have received +2 Karma and +100 Posts.  :)

For the top 3 they each have graphics signatures, couertessy of Wham! Thanks mate, you did a great job again!!  :clap:

In first place;

Slinks + Loopy

In Second place;

Taj

In Third place;

Shockwave.

Each has had the karma and post count they are entightled to except for Loopy and Slinks who donated their Karma to Clyde and Littlewaterdrop.

This time we had another category called Judges Choice, this was decided between the administrators of the board and we have awarded Judges choice to;

Littlewaterdrop.

Thank you all so very much and congratulations to you all!! Especially the winners!!!!  :clap:
