This challenge was in order to promote the (failed) find a coder initiative at DBFinteractive.
The comp was good fun though! Essentially the challenge was to take an Amiga intro and either remake it or make your own interpretation of it.

1st place got a copy of Cobra + Custom Sig + 15 Karma + 750 Posts + Contributing Author Title.
2nd place got a copy of Cobra + Custom Sig + 10 Karma + 500 Posts + Contributing Author Title.
3rd place got a copy of Cobra + Custom Sig + 5 Karma + 250 Posts + Contributing Author Title.
All Valid Entries got an extra +2 Karma.

No music in this one, but it still won!
Tetra used several intros as inspiration and made an ambitious entry combining ideas from all the intros. Watch as the aircraft flys around and finally transforms into a space craft to take you on a short interstellar journey!

This is a faithful remake of the Cracktro by CDI using the original media, Jim re-coded this nice remake.
It's pretty difficult to tell it apart from the original, and has some cool effects and excellent music by Desecrator.

This is maybe one of the best known of all the cracktros ever released on the Amiga.
This version does have some faults, the biggest of which is the music. The music is not the original Suntronic song by Felix Schmidt, rather a conversion of it.
Good news is that this was fixed and the new version can be found on retro-remakes.net.
